P-091 Primary intestinal lymphoma associated with enteric fistula to an intraperitoneal mesh: what came first?

Abstract Aim To present the possible association between use of intraperitoneal mesh and appearance primary intestinal lymphoma. Material Methods We case a 67-year-old woman with history multiple abdominal surgeries (appendectomy, Hartmann's procedure for perforated diverticulitis reoperation due to hemoperitoneum). Ventral hernia repair was performed placing composite in 2013. Eight years later, patient consulted pain bulging located on previous laparotomy scar. Abdominal CT carried out, demonstrating an fistula from jejunum adjacent 5 cm intraabdominal abscess. Results Elective surgery decided on. An enteric observed, as well pathologic lymph nodes adhered mesh. Intestinal resection prior excision. Histopathological analysis compatible extranodal B-cell lymphoma marginal zone. Conclusions Enteric rate associated is 0.3–4%. There are no published cases correlated Primary constitutes 1–4% bowel malignancies. The most common type zone MALT B Typical locations are: gastric (50%), small (33–40%) colon (10–15%). Situations chronic inflammation such celiac disease, inflammatory Campylobacter jejuni infection or reactions known cause this entity. In particular case, excessive response resulting could be source malignancy, vice versa.
